Short version (TL;DR): we are consolidating domains, adopting tink.ink as the primary brand domain, merging the blog into the main site, moving tutorials to devtuts.net, and adjusting scope for a global (English‑first) audience.

What’s Changing

  • Main site: tinkink.nettink.ink
  • Blog: now lives at tink.ink/blog (old standalone blog will redirect; legacy instance becomes a demo of the hexo-theme-terminal theme)
  • Tutorial site: tutorials.tinkink.netdevtuts.net
  • Tools: tools.tinkink.nettools.tink.ink (a future rename is possible)

Why We’re Doing This

  1. Shorter, clearer brand: tink.ink is concise, memorable, and visually repeats the core brand term.
  2. Market separation: tink.ink targets global users; tinkink.net historically served mostly Chinese users.
  3. Simpler content strategy: focus on English first; multilingual complexity removed from the main site.
  4. Cleaner navigation & SEO: fewer root domains → stronger authority and easier maintenance.

Redirects & SEO

  • All major tinkink.net pages now issue permanent (301) redirects to their tink.ink equivalents.
  • Blog article slugs are unchanged to preserve backlinks.
  • The old blog host becomes a theme demo; its canonical tags now point to tink.ink/blog.
  • Search performance may fluctuate briefly while engines re‑crawl.
