What is Tinkink?
Previously the project operated under the name “Maiyatang.” We’ve now adopted “Tinkink” — a shorter, more internationally pronounceable identity.
The domain has migrated to tinkink.net.
As of September 2025, the primary domain has changed to
tink.ink.
Why Change the Name?
While future directions are still forming, a global market orientation feels essential. Any new product should be available internationally from day one.
With that mindset it became obvious that “Maiyatang” is difficult for many people to read, recall, or type. “Tinkink” is neutral, compact, and brandable.
What Does “Tinkink” Mean?
It’s a coined word. Translation tools attempt to map it (DeepL suggests something like a sequence of bell sounds) but there is no canonical meaning—giving the brand room to grow.
What’s Next?
The domain switchover still needs cleanup across properties. After that: move products / sites to English or offer multilingual experiences.
Summary
- Name: “Maiyatang” → “Tinkink”
- Domain:
maiyatang.co→tinkink.net - Direction: International focus; progressive shift to English / multi‑language support
